Fire Solutions was subcontracted by TW Constructors to install the fire suppression system in World Wide Technology’s new 1-million-square-foot NAIC1 and 1-million-square-foot NAIC2 facility.

Fire Protection Systems Installed in both the NAIC1 & NAIC2 buildings included:

• 52-ESFR Wet Sprinkler Systems – Warehouse and Office for combined:
  • – 21,589-ESFR Sprinklers
  • – 726-Standard & EC Sprinklers
• 2-Wet Sprinkler Systems in the clean labs totaling 235-sprinklers
• 1-Double Interlock Pre-Action System in the Data and UPS room
• 1-Clean Agent System in the Data and UPS room
• 1-Dry Sprinkler System in the loading dock canopy
• 2-Site Fire Loops with 16-fire hydrants
• Total amount of piping installed:
  • – 242,000-feet (45.8 miles) of Line Piping
  • – 27,200-feet (5.1 miles) of Main Piping
  • – 11,800-feet (2.2 miles) of Underground Piping
• Fire Pump Room Equipment (per building):
  • – 1 – 1500 GPM Horizontal Fire Pump
  • – 1 – 8” Backflow Preventer
  • – 1 – 3” Pressure Relief Valve
  • – 1 – Fire Department Connection
  • – 1 – Fire Pump Test Connection
